Small Supervised Groups
During your settling in sessions and forward, we aim to understand everything about your child such as their current routine at home, how they like to be comforted, if they have a special comforter, a favourite story or activity they enjoy. Throughout your child’s time at nursery, their key person will always take into account their needs and interests and provide activities that promote learning through play. Our adult ratio to child is over and above the the KHDA recommended guidelines.
Large Indoor Play Areas
Our facilities offer large indoor play areas keeping in mind the weather of the country. Comfortable play areas encourage creativity and curiosity in young learners. Regular physical exercise and development of their motor skills are achievable in spacious play area. We have no weather restrictions to use the facility any time of the day.
Regular Field Trips
We enjoy regular trips connected to our term’s topic into the outside world and explore new possibilities of learning. Field trips are the perfect setting for young children to learn from a new environment, develop critical thinking and explore beyond the walls of the nursery classroom. It gives a fresh perspective to regular activities and makes learning more engaging and memorable. Learning outside the classroom is important in early years of the child.
British Curriculum EYFS Qualified Staff
We hire staff members who have the experience of various cultures in the UAE and above all the needed education on Early Years Foundation Stage. Our team have years of experience and Cache level 2, Cache Level 3 and Cache Level 5 qualifications as specified by the KHDA. Our settings have regular mandatory training days every year and keeps our team well updated. The best settings for children’s experiences are those that have a range of staff with complementary skills and relevant higher-level qualifications. Cherry nurseries are led by staff members with degrees and certifications which have a positive impact on the overall quality of provision for our nursery children.
