The Centre is designed as a ‘Mini – home’ and a learning environment that protects the child’s right to a healthy, happy and appropriate childhood. For most children, the long journey of education does not only start when they enter school. It begins at home and continues in nurseries or pre-schools between 3 months and 4 years. The best of nurseries can offer an enjoyable and smooth transition from toddlerhood to the reception classes at primary school. We aim to achieve these outcomes by: Being Healthy, Staying Safe, Enjoying and Achieving, Making Positive Contributions and Economic Well-being. We will do this through the ethos of the nursery, our curriculum, our partnership with parents and outside agencies, and our commitment to high standards and the early years.
